Need to finish getting ready and head off to the New Moon premiere. Received a reminder to leave all cell phones, cameras, video, etc., etc., etc., in your car or at home. I gave a quick thought about taking the phone, but they will probably have hand scanners. I wouldn’t want to [...] Waiting for breakfast to be delivered. Today is the day, and it looks / sounds like a fever pitch is rising outside. This morning, at 07:00, I heard a bunch of screams and shouts from outside. The windows are closed, and I’m on the sixth floor of the W in Westwood. From the bedroom window I can see part of the lines that are forming, literally stretching for blocks. Apparently some lucky fan won some tickets, “AHHHHHHHHHHH, I WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!” Well, actually, it’s the W in Westwood Village. Room is great, and was ready for early check-in. After a long night it was good to relax for a bit. I have to admit, I’m melting. I never was a hot weather person. It’s “only” 73F / 23C and these people are cold. You gotta be kiddin’ me?!? I’m a bucket of sweat… But have the AC in the sitting area and bedroom down to 65. Feeling much better. |    | |||||
