Waiting for breakfast to be delivered. Today is the day, and it looks / sounds like a fever pitch is rising outside. This morning, at 07:00, I heard a bunch of screams and shouts from outside. The windows are closed, and I’m on the sixth floor of the W in Westwood. From the bedroom window I can see part of the lines that are forming, literally stretching for blocks. Apparently some lucky fan won some tickets, “AHHHHHHHHHHH, I WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!” [...] Well, actually, it’s the W in Westwood Village. Room is great, and was ready for early check-in. After a long night it was good to relax for a bit. I have to admit, I’m melting. I never was a hot weather person. It’s “only” 73F / 23C and these people are cold. You gotta be kiddin’ me?!? I’m a bucket of sweat… As usual, waiting until the last minute to pack. There is always the general idea of what I want to take on a trip, but there is a bit more confusion around this one. I’ll probably make some fashion faux pas, but hey, I’m just “some dude from Alaska with a number after his name.” But throwing a few things together, for better or worse, for the New Moon premiere in LA.
