When this story happened

But my favorite of the CD is Get High (Remix)

Since then, have continued to add OOP LPs added from vinyl.  Just passed 61,178 tracks.  The latest LP is Ron Carter’s “Empire Jazz” LP from 1980.

Still have 861 left to go, and adding more every day.  One of these days, I’ll get caught up.  Check out Smooth’s “My Jazz World” blog.  An incredible source of OOP material, all of superb quality.  Top shelf gear and an ear for perfection makes this music available in the best quality available. I can’t say thanks enough.

I’ve been able to replace many old LPs that have long been lost, or that I have played to death.

I could hardly listen (nor have I) to all the tracks.  At this moment, there are somewhere around 58,243 tracks.  If listened, from track one to the end, it would play for about 172 days, without repeating.

I store this “stuff” on a 1 TB drive, mirrored with a second, and backed up nightly to another drive.  Sure wouldn’t like to lose this “stuff”.  I don’t think I could ever replace it all.
