I “play” with Windows. I “use” OS X. However, there are a few programs that still run under Windows only, and there just isn’t a suitable (or any) replacement for the Mac. A couple of things I only use very infrequently, such as Visio or AutoCAD, or even ArcGIS. For that reason, the Mac works well, and does the things I need so much better. I’ve been looking for software to allow me to post to my blog without using the (cumbersome) web admin interface. My goal, more specifically, is “free” software to accomplish this task. On my quest to figure out SEO, Search Engine Optimization. I still don’t understand (well, maybe I’m starting to) why my site doesn’t show in Google. This post includes a link to a purported ghost caught on a CNN video clip. The reporters didn’t mention it, but an astute viewer with keen eyes caught the apparition. Still playing with WordPress, the blog in general, and the server. Still have so much to learn. Someday, maybe, just maybe I will figure it out, but I doubt it. So I wasted enough time (again) this morning. The sun is shining bright, and the grass didn’t stop growing. If anything, it’s shooting up with the recent rain, and all this sun. I don’t know where Saturday went… Well, I do, really. Spent all day updating to the newest (stable) release of WordPress. Version 2.8 can be found here. |
