I looked back, and the last post was somewhat negative. I’ve had a change of heart, and all of a sudden am really starting to look forward to this event. I called the promotion fulfillment folks handling the travel for the Sweepstakes. I spoke with Jackie (I’m not sure of the spelling) and she was very friendly and helpful, as has been everyone involved to date. I’ll start by saying I’ve never won anything of any consequence. So, a few weeks ago, I was adding books to my “wish list” on Amazon, since that is a good way to keep track of things as I am browsing. There was a button to enter some Wish List 10th Anniversary Sweepstakes. I didn’t pay any attention, but clicked the button and forgot about it. Since I’ve gotten the Kindle, I’ve been consumed with two things; 1) reading considerably more, and 2) searching to get more out of the device. Along the way, I’ve been asked a couple of questions. ‘ve been looking at an ebook reader for the longest time. I’ve always leaned toward the Kindle, since I saw the first one. The technology has advanced and there are some nice looking competitors, such as the new Sony devices. |    | |||||
