Sarah Palin Resigns as Alaska GovernorGuess it doesn’t matter what anybody thinks now… Sarah Palin has resigned as Governor. I can’t think this will help any national aspirations, who wants a quitter. In any event, no one knows; probably not even her. Time will tell… One thing is sure, she certainly polarized the population. We will now see what is in store with the new Governor, as Sean Parnell assumes office. With the exception of a dwindling number of die-hard Palin fanatics, the general feeling in Alaska seems to be: Don’t let the door hit you in the rear-end on your way out.

It certainly has been quite a turn around, from those days at the top. I just don’t see how being a “quitter” will help if she does have higher aspirations in political office. Moving on might help with book deals and celebrity “adventures” but beyond that I just don’t think folks will back her a second time around, for anything.
