Hot!

Ok, by most standards, I’m a wimp.  But I’ve been in Alaska since 1996, and acclimated quite nicely to our moderate temperatures here in Anchorage.  Ok, I’ve never been a hot weather person…  I melt.  This summer, short as it is, has been a scorcher!  Again, put it in perspective…

While Phoenix may be roasting in triple digits (it was 111F / 44C) today when I talked to someone who lives there, our near 80F / 27C is almost uncomfortable here.  But, I guess this is a small price, and we shouldn’t complain.  But when I got home this evening, it was 90F / 32C inside.  The outside temp is right now at 78F / 26C, so it’s qute a bit warmer.  Opened the doors and windows and it’s started to “cool off.”  Will have to get out the fan to make it bearable to sleep tonight.

But as they say, we shouldn’t be complaining…  The days are getting shorter and winter will be upon us before you know it.
