I went to the Alaska Native Heritage Center this afternoon. On the bill was Arvel Bird. I saw him at the Mohican Pow-wow back in September in Loudenville, Ohio. When I met him, I mentioned being from Alaska. He said he would be in Alaska sometime in mid-November. He wasn’t sure of the location at the time, and we parted ways. [...] Yes, I am a bit late to the party. It was a ‘wait and see’, followed by a bit of research before I purchased a factory unlocked phone. This followed the path of unlocked phones to use with my carrier, GCI, here in Alaska. [...] I don’t usually have a negative opinion… but in this case, SoftRAID 4 definitely SUCKS! I only had minor issues in the past with SoftRAID 3. It just seemed to ‘work’ and you never had to think about it. [...] I tried to check my bills yesterday at WheresGeorge.com. Try as I might, the sight just wouldn’t load. I gave up and moved on… This morning, I tried again, and the site was still not available. Strange, it just disappeared. So where do you turn; Google, of course. I typed in “what happened to wheresgeorge” in the search window in Safari. I was a bit surprised to find I wasn’t the only one asking the question. [...] Just got home from the movies… Laura called around 21:35 and asked if I wanted to go to the movies. Sure, what’s playing? And when? Haven’t been to the “late show” in a long time. [...] ‘ve been looking at an ebook reader for the longest time. I’ve always leaned toward the Kindle, since I saw the first one. The technology has advanced and there are some nice looking competitors, such as the new Sony devices. However, I always went back to the Kindle, and started looking at the Kindle 2 and DX.
