I purchased the Tekkeon MP2250 along with the Cradlepoint PHS300 from 3GStore.com. Until now, I haven’t had the time to use the external battery pack. This is a lithium polymer battery pack, supplying 5V with 25.9 Wh output power. I am thoroughly impressed with the performance. I’ve been using the “new” router a couple of days. Today, I did the first test on battery power. The Cradlepoint PHS300 ran a full 2:40! Impressive performance! Hey, all I can say, they were good to their word. To me, that speaks volumes. Actually I *LOVE* Cradlepoint and the 3GStore.com iPhone 3.0 advertised tethering as one of the enhancements. I searched Google to find out how to configure and saw many blogs and posts, either folks saying it works great, or not at all. But when I looked at my unlocked 3G from Hong Kong, I didn’t have the tethering option. I even went to the “3″ site in Hong Kong to see if they had instructions. As a matter of fact they did, but had to go to help.benm.at to get it working. I used the router Wednesday morning before departing the Slope. My flight left Deadhorse and traveled through Barrow on the way to Anchorage. I checked email, looked at my server, checked my webcam, and shut down for the flight home. And that, was the last time the device was operational… I’ve been toying with picking up a portable cellular router for quite some time. At first glance, the Cradlepoint PHS300 seems to fit the bill. This device from 3GStore.com, combined with my ACS “Internet Key” (the Franklin Wireless CDU-680 CDMA wireless modem) made the perfect match. After never being able to upgrade WordPress in any sort of automatic, or painless, way, I’ve finally stumbled upon a configuration that seems to work. In the end, it’s all a matter of ownership and permissions, at least in my case. A review of Don Jose’s, on Benson Blvd., in Anchorage, Alaska. A quick stop for lunch that satisfied and was enjoyable. The chips and salsa were good, and the price reasonable. A quick review of the Bushnell WeatherFx 5. This is a weather display, using wireless Flex paging technology to deliver weather information via AccuWeather. | ||||||
