Harvest Moon

t was a beautiful, bright full moon last night. Couldn’t sleep and went outside about 02:20. It was almost bright as daylight!

A bit of shopping – Prime Outlet Mall, Grove City, PA

Been a nice vacation so far…  Arrived after an almost full day of travel from Anchorage to East Liverpool.  The flight actually isn’t bad, except for the plane change in Phoenix.  Seems like it is a mad dash from the end of one terminal, to the end of another.  Oh well…
Had a nice visit on [...]

iPad Apps Disappear On Sync

The other night, I decided to follow along with the iPad Today Podcast as they highlighted several new apps.  I downloaded a few freebies, and even sprung a couple of bucks for two others.  They worked fine and enhanced the iPad experience.

The next morning before work, I decided to sync the phone and iPad, to make sure I backed up the new apps.  I didn’t notice anything with the phone, but something caught my eye when syncing the iPad.
I was prompted to select if I wanted to Transfer purchases from the iPad to iTunes.  Yes, thank you.  I didn’t pay much attention, but noticed they were being downloaded to the MBP.  I did an extra step to arrange the new icons via iTunes.

Something different – iPad update

Ok, so I never used the BT keyboard with the iPad. Shame on me. It looks like I didn’t know what I was missing… Hey, speaking of “missing”…!

Still recovering…

I don’t like all these negative posts, but… The “destruction” left by SoftRAID is still surfacing. Like the spill in the Gulf, this just doesn’t go away, even when you think things are getting better.

SoftRAID sucks!

I don’t usually have a negative opinion… but in this case, SoftRAID 4 definitely SUCKS!

I only had minor issues in the past with SoftRAID 3. It just seemed to ‘work’ and you never had to think about it.

Happy Father’s Day, Dad!

My Father’s Day 2010 greeting to my Dad. Created with Smilebox. Unfortunately, they only offer a Windows application, but it works fine nonetheless…

I broke WordPress…

I saw the notice on the blog admin pages… I saw the tweets… Ok, let’s go ahead and upgrade to the latest and greatest WordPress. And that’s when the trouble began.

Spymac – After all these years

I first found Spymac in the early days, in 2004. Then it grew wildly, and collapsed in on itself. Friends and acquaintances scattered to the four corners of the Internet, as they fled the demise of the Community.
